Default Shite little riffs in hardstyle

Fair enough trancey riffs work well in some tracks, but dont you hate it wen a track starts really well, only to be ruined in the break by a riff that sounds like it was made in 30 secs on a mobile phone composer!

soo many tunes i wouldve bought but for this

    innit...........for defo...........

some crap synth's that play up and down some scale like grade 2 piano or some cheesy tune off an old advert...........

there are a few tunes spoiled by this......

the B side to one of the le brisc recent blutonium releases is a prime example.......

Hate it when I've listened to a tune quickly in my lunch hour in a store, and skip over certain bits.........get them home, play the tune right the way through........ and there's one tommy tank riff that ruins the lot and is a struggle to mix without it in............

yeh i agree that tunes class but i dont mean proper riffs like that, i mean completely non-atmospheric riffs that are there almost for the sake of it

yeah i know what you mean mate i think its cause hardstyles so basic and like - bang - bang - bang they need some thing to fill it out, hence the cheesy samples they use! with trance you can use the beats and the riff to fill out the track

its ridiculous! if they just wouldnt add these stupid little shitty riffs and screaches you could actually play the whole tune, or at least without cringin. rather than only being able to play the first 1/3rd of all your tunes without it soundin totally geigh.

i say make ur own, all ya need is a hard poundin kick, some big fat off beat bass, and just leave out the cheese/screachin and there ya go.

if you try and add much more to it, it will sound shit as proven so many times.
