The Hillsborough disaster happened in April 1989, Liverpool were playing Notts Forest in a cup game at Hillsborough (sheff weds ground)...96 Liverpool fans were crushed due to over crowding, down to the police who couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery it was totally the filths fault, but they tried to cover it up...scum

anyway, the sun printed a front page with the headline

THE TRUTH, in huge letters. under that were three smaller headlines: 'Some fans picked pockets of victims' 'Some fans urinated on the brave cops' 'Some fans beat up PC giving kiss of life'.

totally un true, you may be able to say a lot about the people of Liverpool, but there is NO WAY they would have done that, people round here have boycott the sun since that day and rightly so...I would not buy or read the sun if it was the last paper on earth, and if I see anyone reading it I rip it out of their hands traitors

The other week the sun tried to appoligise again in the paper but it was not a genuine or sincere apology for the lies it told!!

An apology should be front page and not somehwere in the middle of the paper, what we read is front page story regarding Wayne Rooney being threatened, backed up by a leader inside the paper which attempts to apologise followed by an attack on Liverpudlians.

It was nothing more than a gloat and another attack on Merseyside people
