    Default define hard trance....

    Can someone please explain to me the fundamental difference between hard trance and hardhouse? Thank yooooou.

    hardtrance, is hard european sounding and uplifting,scot project is perfect example.

    uk hard trance and hard house is f ucking shit,im sorry but it is, Please remember this is mark eg's underground dance forum,not pots and pans hard house bollocts discussion,im sorry to be harsh but its true.

    fair play cyberpixie, if you like it all thats cool !!! I'm just not keen on that side of dance and what arrogance can some time come with it. sorry for generalising you m8. ;)

    that's ok - people do that a lot when you say you like hardhouse, and it's not particularly fair really but then I spose you get the stereotype projected onto you if you're into that kind of thing. I like dance music generally - only been into it a couple of years and I love it sooo much, but I don't know much about it - only got into it through mates who were into trance/hardhouse so I'm still working it out. So there you go. xxx

    some uk hard trance is awsome...some of jon does stuff for example

    most of it's pretty tame.

    hard trance came from hamburgs red light district in the early 1990's (tunnel,harthouse,edm etc...)

    hardhouse came from ppl with baggy orange bingo-wings in about 1997ish. pots and pans hehehe :lol:

    i just said them dj's so cyberpixie can get a slight idea of the difference between the 2 styles before anyone jumps on me.


    also its not really called hardhouse events now but harddance with a bit of everything thrown in.

    i duno what im stomping to half the bloody time
