Default RE: Versus Festival, Trilogy tent shut down...

All I can say on behalf of the Trilogy crew is sorry to all who attended for our tent & DJ's.

I can not believe that we were shut down for being too loud at a dance music festival for fu*ks sake?!

Proper piss take in my opinion.

It sems it was down to the council. I said it on the night & I will say it again...

BOURNEMOUTH COUNCIL ARE A BUNCH OF CUNTS.

To those who were saying they wanted their money back after they were unable to enjoy the night, I hope you succeed in getting it, or at least some of it back.

    Sorry once again,

    Si

everybody who feels as frusrtated as me about this shambles of an event please sign the versus festival guestbook to let them know www.versusfestival.com

Its a dam shame, Everybody who i spoke to said how good the Triology tent was & many were frustrated they couldnt even get in there at some pionts throughout the day/night as it was to busy ! Shame they didnt have a bigger tent as it would of been even better.

Its the promotors of the versus festival who are to blame, why even bother putting on an event with LOUD dance music at night when there are houses just down the road, aparantly the local residents had formed an action commity to stop this event from happening due to problems with noise.

Big up the Triology Crew for putting on a wicked party & pissing all over the Slinky tent

The atmosphere in there was awsome, probably the best ive seen at a festival, just a shame the tent was shut down @ 12

    Top tent till it shut.

Went to the Slinky tent but it was just a mud pit.

Overall it was a shambles but we went to a free party afterwards in a nearby forrest whch was banging with top acid tunes (and still going) when we left at 10am!

    TRILOGY OFFICIAL STATEMENT:

All Trilogy has ever wanted to do is supply quality music to happy like-minded people. We strive to create nights out for people to come to and enjoy to the maximum, to bring people the best in underground music & up front DJs as well as entertaining you with our quality resident DJs & MCs. We are party people who put on parties for the true music heads!

Being given a chance last year to introduce our music & policies to the Versus Festival, and the tent we were running being a huge success, this year we wanted to improve & better ourselves, so that we could show people what are really capable of...

This year, we decided to bring in our own sound system from our sister nights at the Grove, Seaton (Atmosphere) to try and improve on last year. We also stepped up a gear with the DJs booked. Mark EG, (who unfortunately was unable to play) The Organ Donors & guests from the Stay Up Forever collective.

Trilogy admits that during the day & night our sound was higher than it should have been and for this we apologise.

All involved with the running of Trilogy would like to apologise to everyone who attended the Versus Festival for the closure of our tent & the sound levels in the surrounding tents being lowered.

We can only wish the Versus team all the best for next year & hope all involved accept our most sincere apologies.

bit of a copout if you ask me...

at the end of the day the event was so poorly organised in regard to the trilogy tent it was inevitable that a major problem would arise.

im disgusted at the way tommo was treated and im disappointed that he's been forced to bow down to the versus promoters.
the alarm clock\'s going off. but you\'re not waking up. this isn\'t happening.

    Hi Si

Nice to meet you at at the festival. Trilogy was was banging until.....

Do you remember where you sent me lol - I was out of it for the next 5 hours!

When I came round id missed all the fun and an empty tent awaited me, oh well always next year.

At least I caught Ant he was wicked!

There was a really good free party in a nearby forest too that went on till sun lunch time.

    cheers

    Howard
