    Default FS & specs

can anyone tell me whether the spec below for my laptop will adequately run FS version 1.5. seems to match the recommended specs but im not sure whether i really need more to run it well.

    celeron cpu 1.80 Ghz
    1.79 Ghz
    256 mb ram.

    thanks ;)

    dont see why not

it may start to slow down if you are running loads of plugins and effects and buying more ram would sort that out

Get more ram, and the bigger the HD the better!

try to get a faster hard drive ie the new 7200rpm laptop hard drives or bettr yet, create one using a standard ide hard drive and a usb2.0 or firewire enclosure.

you'll save about 50% by doing that rather than buying a stock usb or firewire external harddrive and you'll know you'll get a good quality drive inside.

Time to upgrade new geezer ;)

Go for a pentium-m based laptop if you're not going the mac route.
