    Default New SHOKK tune!!!

QUALITY, me thinks, minimal and pounding. Better than the million and one remixes they ave been hammering out lately.

Mixed views on this one. Its not great, but not a bad tune. Its well produced, but In my opinion not in the same league as 'folie a deux' or 'Isn't it all a little strange'. This tunes a bit different. Its quite dark and techy. Not sure about the vocal either.

a thought folie a deax was horrible,

there rmxs are normally, top top tunes, but then wat made them unique at first got the arse ripped out as all there rmxs eventually sounded the same.

yeah im gonna have to agree with corbzy on this one.... folie a deux? horrible? hmmmm....

BUT.. is everyone sure that the track you can hear on overdose is the original mix??? cos im pretty sure its the one that giotto has been playing out, and he said it was just a remix. but then he might been trying to throw me off the scent!

however, re: the tune... weeeellll... it depends how you look at it. listen to it as just a tune, with no idea who the artist is, and its average techno trance really isnt it. listen to it expecting a new shokk hardtrance behemoth, and its something of a letdown. ho hum.

Folie a Deux is one of the best tunes of all time in my opinion - it's never left my box and it must be nearly 3 years ago that I bought it!

Fairplay Voorheez, I'd definitley agree mate.

Hey mate get in touch with Alex Ball (soundfixation) and get him to sort you out a set with either Premonition or Twisted Tuesdays (in Plymouth). If you want give us your mobile number and I will get him to call you.

    :)

I mailed Simon Pitt eralier today funnily enough, I should be on Twisted Tuesday in May, but he's uncertain about Premonition. I see you are playing at TT soon, i'll do my best to pop down and give you some support.

yeah mate... folie a deux is ridiculously good... listen to it remembering when it first came out and how totally original it is... absolutely blinding. and it still (almost) has the impact it had then.

just about to listen to the original mix of shokk3...

    not impressed....
its ok, but doesnt beat my lips off in the way i expected... that big stabby chord riff isnt something im fond of and i dont think it really works...
im gonna give it a few more listens before i pass final judgement tho cos with reverb prods it always takes me a while to embrace them, even tho he's my fave producer.
