ok...does anyone know how I can get a phpBB database and use it to create a mambo database. someone told me i need to use phpmyadmin.

i need to transfer the database and then make sure both systems use the same one.

Erm, what sort of database is it, and what is mambo?? You'll need to look at what version of MySQL you are currently using, and see if it is compatable with the new one.. Then you cn use phpmyadmin to change the tables to fit the new one.

The database wont be phpbb, that isnt the database, that is the php scrpit which organises the MySql database. You will need to get the MySql database off your sever, and use phpmyadmin to get the info you want...

    Hope this helps
