i just have to say that there are some real quality releases coming out at the moment everywhere, sounds to me like techno in all aspects is growing!!!
im real into the Hard/clubby Funk/tribal grooves and they just seem to be everywhere at the moment, its great

producers are doing new things and doing it with style , djs are mixing really well.

i really do believe that having good performances has to help the scene. i mean so many times have i been out to a party and heard a dj playing KAK, wghy would you as a punter want to go back???

i agree. There is just so many quality tunes coming out and quality dj's playing them its great. The amount of young talent both dj and production wise us unreal. While all those around us fall techno will still be standing there strong

seems like things are better anyway, personally, i don't even care i'll keep on truckin regardless. **** the bozos. here in the states the few the proud the techno dj's gotta be geurillaz but it's better in my camp than some places.

i personally think techno has never been in such a shit state as it is now.

there is far too much shite and wishy washy crap about.
but i suppose thats what you get when a genre of music that has always been underground becomes mainstreem.

My opinion is that deep inside everyone techno in particular has a resonance of some sort, it goes back to the ancient tribes dancing to repedtive minimal drum beats. It gets to people in a way that touches them on a deeper level I have seen many people "converted" to loving techno because it's naturally familar like a heartbeat and can't be forgotton.

Of course when the production isn't up to par or it's being played like shite that's a diffrent story alltogather :dontevengothere:
