richie hawtin glasgow mix

i feel like a dork saying so, but after all these years richie hawtin continues to impress me.

there were a couple of threads in the last few months on the subject of production vs rawness, and i think it's still an interesting topic. i don't know if the "glasgow mix" was records or final scratch, but i was amazed to hear 4 hours of techno that was very raw and gritty with lots of old school influence, but still sounding fresh.

think it was the hardsignal site i downloaded mine from.
didnt know it was on the minus site as well.

i guess i was just curious whether he was playing his own edits or if there really are lots of people releasing tracks with that rawness.

yeah thats where i got that set from.
been on hardsignal and that power 96 mix doesnt seem to be on it anymore. bound to be least 40 people on soulseek with it though.
