cisco's definitely put on some of the better live shows i've ever seen. do have to say though that i liked his sets better before he "streamlined" his set up and greatly reduced the amount of gear he lugged around with him. guess it is understandable why he did, but i just can't help but think he lost some of the vitality of his show along with the equipment. still--a class act.

I saw him do a laptop PA. He completely shredded the sound system and annihilated everyone on the dance floor! I'd usually get a little bored when seeing a laptop PA, but he had complete control of the crowd, and that's when a laptop PA becomes interesting

Well I seen him at Limelight Nyc and he looked like he had half his studio on stage that night. He murdered it. Straight murdered it.

i saw him do the stop and start laptop set as well but i was still impressed.. (saw him 3 times in one weekend @ demf) not very many people produce tracks that sound soooo clean! all he seemed to do was smoke cigarettes and hit up the airfx though but it sounded good

there is a very good advent video live @ nature one.. and some decent mp3 live/dj sets.. i missed out when the advent came to la in 1998 and put on an all hardware live show but im not gonna miss out when cisco comes in september :)

Here's a set I picked up somewhere, I'll keep it on my server for a week, so get it quick. I believe it's the Advent playin live at the LooseClub 2001. It's pretty good.

yeah--that was the last time i saw him with his full set up, before going more in the laptop direction. one of the best sets i've seen him drop. got a nice video of it as well.

i also wouldn't mind seeing him do shows with colin mcbean again--watching those two work it was always incredible.

Cisco believes in showing each track has a different track and not doing the "dj" way of non-stop ... I guess it gives time for a reaction just like u would on a rock band... It's just hos view I guess. Still Class Act and a Class Chap.. the sound is always a killer clean top notch ...

Cisco has an eng. degree and produced from rock 2 the early dance anthems for a lot of old school guys!

    thanks for this.

advent sets on the net are few and far between. their is a 20min clip from an advent set doing the rounds at the moment, and it just leaves you wanting more.

Saw The Advent live a good 5 years ago when Colin McBean was still but still stands out as one of best techno live acts i've seen....absoutely rockin techno & electro. Mr Ferreira is a techno legend! such slick productions imo

saw the Advent (both Cisco and Colin) at the End many moons ago and they absolutley teared it up. Really got the crowd going before hand by dancing in the crowd and making sure everyone had a happy face on them :)

I'll see him at Liverty One next week so I can't wait!!

check Soulseek for live PA's Frank DS :)
