Just to stop the endless lists of everybodies favourite DJ/Producers from turning into one of those "100 greatest" tv things on channel 4

Q: Why is it, so many producers (techno,house,trance..) are able to produce consistantly fantastic music but yet cannot get to grips with the concepts of being a great dj, even though they attempt it and fail? I have a concept and I think I know why this is/happens, but I'd rather read what other people think first...
