my brother played the current 8-ball world champion...

just yesterday. he entered a £1000 for the winner 8-ball tournament at morley international snooker centre in leeds (with a £30 entry fee) got through the first round, only to be drawn against the current world champion (i think he is called mick hill) in round two.

after trailing 1 frame to nil, my brother pulled it level at 1-1 at which point the current world no 5 said to the no 1 "looks like you could be in for some trouble here" ...my brother went on to lose 7-1. :lol:

my brother is chuffed though, its not every day you get to meet your idols, let alone play them (he watched this guy lift the world championship on sky sports a while ago)

to round things off, he was asked to play in a 6-man 8 ball team which includes the world no 1.
