so i was browsing DJ Magazine yest afternoon....
stumbled accross an interview with ED Real and in a side section was a review of 5 or 6 tunes...

the first one was Pavo & Zany - Here We Go / Porn on Fusion!!!!!!
so i was like OMG, one of my main tune choon toons is being played by ED Real, someone i had down as more of a mainstream clubby, uk garagey type DJ, maybe i was wrong, or maybe the advance of hardstyle is really advancing.
i was however, somewhat releaved by his review of the record, promoting the A side over the B side, with B being the harder, hasnt got a cheesey housey sample in it, side....
he also gave the readers a definition of what hardstyle is, along the lines of: (this is really hard to explain in writing..)
taking that UK hardhouse/hardtrance spawned from a fusion of UK house+trance+hardcore (beats, melody, speed...) much that dutch hardhouse/hardtrance spawned from dutch house+trance+hardcore....but called hardstyle instead......... bit of an odd way of explaining it but i know what he means and I peronally have given hardstyle this deffinition before, in so much that its more of a dutch/belgium sound then Italian or German....he did not metion german or itlian in the article....
that is a real generlisation by me of wot he wrote and i wish i had the article so i could type it out fully, as the way he wrote it was a good *deffinition" of hardstyle....
taking that POV, i can understand why there are alot more "housey" samples in tunes recently....
it's all on the move again, moving away from the Italian hard trance sound, which we all assumed was hardstyle, but was infact really hard trance and it's all developing into a different sounding hard house.....
different sounding hard house... dun like that tbh. need TRANCE!
just my thoughts...
