Default Christian Smith & Selway - The Way It Is [Recommended]

If any of you are old school 88 heads, you really need to check this.

Sure many of you may not like Smith and Selway but you really have to check this :)

    It's brilliant.

smith and selway are one of my favorite collaberations

they have been known to release wicked tracks on very shitty lables, for example, Giant/Titan on Bugged out....

i am looking forward to this release!

I'm glad they smacked the cowbell a bit in the track. I could do with out the vocals, but the programming is good.

The problem with S&S and tunes like this is that record buyers generally come into a shop, skip thru the track and buy what they think is gonna rock a dancefloor. They don't hear what the track is really all about. If aint got loops or a 16 bar break down they can see then they can't be arsed (IMO from working in shops). The amount of times I've heard some big name DJ drop a track like this and the crowd go crazy is unreal. Then when you play it in the shop after they don't like it
S&S tunes need to be listened too. Me, I'm a bit partial to the Metroplitan EP, Track B2. That tune has murdered floors whenever I've played it.

yeah I got some good S&S stuff
They combine solid dancefloor beats with proper musicality. When they are at their best anyway.
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?
