    Default Sven Wittekind in Manchester October

    Says on his website hes playing Locked??30th october in manchester,can ne1 give me more info on this gig,where it is,hotels near it etc??id be willing to travel over to see him,only thing tho is that it clashes with a gr8 gig here in Dublin so mite be hard to get people to go but fingers crossed il get someone if I start begging now :lol: !Wud love to see wittekind!!!

    nice work locked.

    the park club is right next to oxford road train station(on grosvenor street),so you can get a train from manchester airport to oxford road no problem. theres plenty of hotels nearby,travellodge etc and loads of good bars for your pre club drinks.

    yeh heard it clashed with a speedy j gig but seen speedy j already this year&wittekind i dunno just seems to spend most of his time djing in Germany,rarely seen him listed for anything else...thanks for the info Frank! Keep it coming :) anyone know what I could do for tickets as would wana pre book mine cos wudnt wana travel all the way over for it to be sold out!R even to be stuck on a paying guestlist,I'm not gona organise anything for another week anyway but would just be handy to know!

    yeah wittekinds beats will suit locked big time! The Dj Amok night was one of the best nights ive had this year down there.

    Tickets wise i think youd probably be best off private messaging LOCKED on this board and ask him to get you on a payin guestlist as i think they rarely sell tickets beforehand(i could be wrong tho) Youll get in either way anyway and im sure jay will make it a priority if he knows your gang are travelling from so far.

    I've only been down to Locked once, when Surgeon was on, and loved it. A great crowd and venue is right down my street. I'll certainly try my best to get down for this one, but as said, Voodoo on the same night so maybe the turnout won't be as good as it really should deserve.

    both will be good nights, but anyone who passes on seeing Speedy J Live in Liverpool alongside The Hacker, Fenton and Finke for Sven Wittekind needs their heads testing!

    and i mean that in the nicest possible way!

    his agency said he doesnt get booked over here. his style is a bit hard i guess for the UK.

    wouldnt mind seeing him at a multi rig squat party tho.

    yes Kitten u do need ur head testing!

    Sven is hotter than a really hot thing thats been heating up, but the lineup for Voodoo is just superb and for me the quality of the acts is just that step above.... i know it will be a better night... im not taking anything away from Sven cos he kicks it, he's got serious talent, but unfortunately im opting for Voodoo!
