any mpc-2000xl users on the forum?

i recently figured out how to play scales of sample on it via the 'autochromatic assignment' feature. no more static bass loops, but now evolving, rolling madness :-)

can you do that on a 2000?

on a original 2000? i don't know. i do know an original mpc can only play one program at a time while an XL can play 4.

my advise would be to look in your manual under 'building or editing programs' or something like that.
