it doesn't like the part "mp3_[" <-- this bracket

yes, its definately that but it only seems to be this forum.
it works on kvr-vst and on little detroit.

rename the file and remove the [ ] mate, blackout doesnt allow those charectors in url links

just followed the step by step guide to uploading a file to ur ftp site

which worked, i think.
i can see the uploaded file on this ftp screen,
