if i had my way it would allways be bang bang bang, but my studio partner usally holds me back and introduces more strings and pads, which is probably a good thing having 2 slightly differnt tastes.

some techno can be quite chilled, but i do think "techno", the techno i like anyway unfortunately goes "bang bang bang", i really like those kick drums to stand out, i also like the bassline really groovey...but dance music in itself is all run from a kick drum which goes "bang bang bang" (well good dance music anyway :lol:)

i will write what ever the mood takes me. usually its up tempo harder tracks but i've messed about writting trance, acid house, electro, and so on
