the kick seems to lack a little punch, it's sounding very flat on my headphones, i love the claps though or whatever they are

i love the hat pattern that comes in at 2.30ish, i would have liked to see that carry on a little longer to be honest
Life is "trying things to see if they work"

Finally getting around to updating my site

Thanks fo the critique. I'm actually thinking about doing a part 2 for this. 113 is my address, so i may do another version, same drum patterns, different 303 line. 3 step pattern based on the 113 address=o] I dunno, i get bored...

I will try to get more punch to it...that is one thing i'm not that good at. I also don't have alot of outboard gear to work with. All mastering is done with T Racks.

i like the groove a lot. mellow but heavy at the same time.

i think some reverb might help to push some of the percussion behind the 303 and make it stand out better.

    cheers

    eq!
like your idea. I think the 303 and the hats are competing for freq. also this thing is super harsh on the high end.
love the minimal heavyness of this.

Gottya, i'll tone the EQ down a bit=o] It's hard for me to tell as both my moniters and headphones are not in the best of condition anymore.

it still sounds a bit distorted. it might be compressed too much.

I didn't add too much compression. If you mean it sounds a bit sharp, that's the intention=o]
