UTTER RUBBISH, in my opinion...

Everton have no real money to spend. Man Utd ONLY PAID £10 million of the Rooney transfer fee. You get another £10million next season, and a further £7million over the years and depending on appearences and whether Man Utd wins things. Hence why I couldn't understand why you boys rejected a straight £20 million cash deal from Newcastle.

If you were in debt by £20 to £30 million this money simply gives Everton breating space so they don't have to sell players like Yobo. Everton are not out of the woods, but any deals they strike have to rely on a club agreeing to defer payment somewhat, which isn't always favoured by clubs...

Have a look at some of the football news sites, Kenwright has already back tracked and said that only around £12million may be available come Janurary.

That sounds about right. Wish Everton would have more, love to see them get some quality in... hope they prove me wrong and spend more if they really have it.

There's only two players there Everton could get. Possibly Michael Ball (after all he used to play for Everton) and Dean Ashton (Div 1 up to Prem). Mutu! haha... no chance! Pennant, maybe if Arsenal let him go but I doubt they will. Joe Cole? No way would he go to Everton. It would have to be Champ League Team. James Beatie? He'd want to go in to a top 6 side. It's early days yet in the Premiership, let's be realistic.
