    Default mix tape eq`s

something i noticed recently is that when you record your mix into soundforge insted of just burning it to cd as it is, if you make the eq band look like a smile (more bass and high) it gives the mix that extra bit of crispness.......... dunno wether this is something alot of people do already but ive never bothered doing anything with em b4 and this really does make a difference

not something i would ever do to be honest. i like having that raw feel to mixes wether its one i have done or someone else has done even if the eq on the base goes a bit high or something **** it it just shows your human.

The problem with that is that if you eq it to sound good on your own speakers it might not sound good on someone elses speakers, unless your using good quality monitors.

Increasing the bass and highs and dropping the mids a bit is what most home hifi's do anyway to make music sound better.
