    Default Funky/Techy Acid

    http://homepage.ntlworld.com/family....2/ACIDBLAH.MP3

Not the sort of thing I would normally write, but probably one of my best efforts so far production wise....

    Comments/suggestions/criticisms appreciated.....

Listening to it, i like the synth texture and main
acid line, really nice and just movin. The kicks
could use a little beefing up, and as such the
snares as well. I really like the effects about 3/4
of the way through on the break.
Overall its a great start, i'm impressed by a good
deal of the sounds in it. I think it really needs some-
thing to the lowend to get it going along, a little perc
wouldn't hurt either. Definetly something i'd play out
lemme know how this progresses, you've already got
    a good step forward. : ) -&rew

i like the feel of this a lot. very groovy. some of the sounds could use some thickening up me thinks, and it could be mastered louder. lots of potential in this one i think.

    cheers

Cheers for the feedback. You're right - everything (the bottom end in particular) needs a bit more beef to it - I'll try layering a few more samples over the ones I'm using and re-eq it a bit. It's hard knuckling down with the technical stuff though, playing with new tracks/ideas is usually far more tempting....

I like the overall sound - very groovy and very wobbly - reckon I'd get down to this and play it in a slower set
