David Beckham

I didn't see all the game (had to work, GRRR!) but looking at the highlights it's being said that Beckham had a wicked game.

He scored a cracker! was his overall game really that good? It would be nice to here that he is getting back to the player that we loved him for.

But as someone else said on here, hope its not lived until he misses another important penalty.

Both Beckham and Owen played well but you have to remember they are playing against a side ranked about 100 in the world and full of lower league players. (except Giggs, Bellamy, Hartson.....)

owen had many chances to score but again did not finish them. he did play better tho with some good runs.

beckhams goal was class but again he played quite average in most the game
