I gotta hear this one!
Yeah, very good stuff. One of the better hard records this year.
The A side works well, more of this please Ian.
sorry, I just make minimal now. ;)
oh f**k please tell me you're joking, that whole thing is wearing WAY too thin ;-)Originally Posted by Ian
good record Ian, it's a pleasure selling it (I am UK sales at Veto)
i prefer the b side tracks,if you listen to them properly they really are fantastic, and mix a treat 2 :)Originally Posted by Dustin Zahn
Nah, he isn't joking. I agree the minimal fad is at the point of ****ing ridiculous, but his minimal is better and a bit different than the usual clicky poppy glitchy bullshit.Originally Posted by Sir Real
@basslinejunkie: The b-side tracks are good too, but these days most people here either play minimal, or just dark/weird...so I've been in the mood to bang it lately and make things fun and energetic again. So, the A tracks do a better job of fitting the peak time sound imo.

^^^Dustin, finally got to hear your new Compound and I like it alot, specially the first track. Well done mate, why such a LONG wait for the realease though???
Thanks man. I haven't heard it on vinyl myself yet so I am kinda anxious. Glenn had a lot going on since Compound went silent for a while. A new LP, some reworking of his label infrastructure, as well as some personal stuff so Compound was just put on the backburner for a while. I think the release will be a strong come back for Compound. #33 is Ian again with a record that is just as bangin' (imo his best release yet), featuring more of a peak-time club sound rather than his usual atmospheric and moody techno. Some of the tracks have that more jackin' feel similar to the A1 on the Tonewrecker release. Compound is back!
