Interesting stuff! Many of you feel the Toon will beat Charlton two nil away. I know Charlton arn't having a good time at the moment, but that's very generous on Newcastles part. Still, hope your right!

Think Kluiverts out cause of a thigh strain, but we still have Shearer, Bellamy and Ameobi ready to play.

I think shearer retiring from internationals has helped you a lot. He's class, it will be a shame if he retires in the summer, plus it will leave your lot in the shit!

Shearer to me has been an idol. He is one of the best strikers in the world, and he's English! Powerful and absolutely deadly in front of goal. When at Blackburn and early on at Newcastle he was in a class of his own for goal scoring. I think Kluivert is great replacement for him. They are both similar sort of strikers, but Kluivert is bit more about pace and movement where Shearer is about positioning and holding up the ball and using his strength and power.

Kluivert & Bellamy is still pretty worrying I think. Ameobi is a good player too, he showed last year he can score goals, so I'm hoping he comes good. People think I'm odd for saying it, but I think in January Newcastle should put in a bid for Owen. Bellamy and Ameobi may not like it, but they have to realise that Shearer will be gone at the end of the year and Newcastle will need a striker of quality. Owen is only 24, he's not at his peak yet, his form has dipped of late and some people forget that he's grabbed over a dozen hat tricks in the Premiership! Newcastle have £20 to £25 million in cash to spend. I think Owen & Bellamy or Owen & Kluivert, or all three up front, is damn scary...

Cant see Owen leaving madrid in january, it would be a waste of time, and tbh, i dont think Owen would go to newcastle.

He needs champions league football, and wants to contend for the championships etc. Thats why he left the red shite.

Im sure souness will bag you a good striker, but who could replace shearer???
