He's a complete twat. He's go such talent and he messes everything up. His career is over for at least a good 2 years now. He was SO lucky to not be in jail in Romania for a cop car chase when he refused to stop. That chase turned in to a high speed thing and he claims he thought the police wanted an autograph! HAHAHA...
He was told by his club he was unfit/injured and not to play for Romania while in this state. He defied them and off he went. He was fined two weeks wages (£120,000 in total!) for his defiance.
He was tested in September and caught with cocaine in his system. What a loser.
I hate seeing talented people **** themselves up. If I had his footballing talent I would give everything I had because I would be receive £60,000 A WEEK!!!!!!!! to play a game I love, football!!

I don't think he will get banned for that long, it is hardly a performance enhansing drug.
I feel sorry for the lad, his slag of a Mrs takes his child he adored away from him and he is in a foreign country with probably no friends outside of football. It was bound to mess his head up.
I wish him the best and hopes he learnes from his mistake.

Im surprised more players dont get caught for doing coke.
A 2 year ban would be out of order, id say 6 months would be fair, and like french og said, he wasnt taking any performance enhancing drugs!

Well i read today that because he admitted to using coke after his 1st test & subsequently turned down his chance of a second test that he isnt likely to face to strong a ban becuase he admitted it.
so we shall see....

I think he was injured, and then when mourinho came in, he was dropped.
You would expect footballers to have more sense tho, if i was on £60k a week, i wouldt do ****in anythin out of line!

when I say 2 years I don't mean the ban. I mean the time it takes him to get back to playing decent football with a big club. Didn't Bosnich get a year ban for coke when at Chelsea?
With transfer windows it may not be this year he sells, and with his ban it he may not be bought until end of season... so I reckon 2 years before he's back to the big time, that's IF he sorts himself out.(\\__/)
