Default bulk audio file conversion (aiff > wav)

Ive got thousands of Aiffs that i need to get into Wavs for a sampler and need a quick way of going about it..
Im told you can just rename Aiffs into wavs - but it will still take me days to do about 15,000 files :(
anybody know a way i can do this automatically? (bit of software etc)
    Cheers!

    I use this:

You'll have to download a separate codec to convert aiffs from here -

or put all the aiffs into one directory and go to DOS and type rename *.aiff *.wav.

or something like that, its been years. type rename /help for instructions.
