my phone supports video playback, but the format it best supports is '3gp'. from what i can see 3gp files are basically mp4s. to the best of my knowlage divx is mp4 (or atleast it was originally based on mp4 technologies) so would i be able to use a divx encoder to encode mp4s and simpley change the extention to 3gp (seeming as i already have a divx encoder but cant find a free mp4 encoder anywhere online)?

i have the nokia encode but its a big shit really. as for quicktime, its only in the pro version. (i'm not prepared to spend cash upgrading)
