Nothing is wrong with putting 110% effort, love and devotion into your music. But at the same time there's no need to be an ass about it either.

Chris Liberator is a great example of someone who has dedicated his life to music, but at the same time manages to keep a proper prespective on it all.
Exactly. Chris obviously isn't up his own arse, but who could question his dedication to the music he loves. Brilliant example. :)

Once again this is Bull. With my own eyes, I have seen lifelong happy hardcore lovers shake their butts off to Christian Varela PAINS remixes....

Just take yourself as an example... You didn't come out of your mother's womb knowing about how sweet dozens of drum loops can sound together! Everyone started out listening to something before techno.
...and again. Spot on! If you've only ever listened to techno how can you know for sure it's the music you love the most, and if you have listened to other styles of music you probably liked some of them for a while and moved on, eventually coming to techno.

Half the time you really wonder if they are lying to themselves because they are usually missing the whole point.... THEY AREN'T ENJOYING THEMSELVES. Like this techno thing is all being done for image....

3 out of 3, your on a roll :D

You've just described a guy I know down to a tee. I won't even to the guy about techno as he gets up on his high horse. A year and a half ago the guy didn't even listen to techno, now he thinks he knows it all. He stands at the side of dj boxes noting tunes on his mobile and I swear he didn't even crack a smile last time we were at Pressure.
