Well, there is a fine line between respective critisism (which we all need, to stop us from going stale), and slagging, and I think we just need to put a little more thought into the way we comment.

yeah it is sh*t when you see slaggin/disrespectful comments. i tend to steer clear of them threads. i think people should be more constructive and not just whack comments with no thought. i think if people have there diffrences with one an other, then send them a PM other than causeing an unecessary slagging thread that goes right off the original topic. i say "think before you add your comments" ....even i feel like adding certain comments somtimes but just leave it because its actually not relevant.

totally agree........i think its a good in a way to critisise stuff as long as yer not just like "thats shite, rubbish"...and your actually stating why you dont like summin..."far too much bass, sloppy mixin etc"...ya v gotta or as db says yer just kissing arses....who wants the forum to be a bunch of "yes men"???not me, i prefer truth and dont mind if someone dont like my stuff, as long as they say why i can try and take ther critisism and use it to my advantage...like if someone said a vocal was too loud on a track of mine i would listen to it and if i agreed maybe trim the level down...

totally agree aswel, its cool to say why you dont like it but there are ways to do that instead of saying that is a complete pile of shi*te! be truthful but constructive also, that way no one takes offence.

i saw sum kinda atitude in another part of this forum, which myself + other up +coming freinds have had to deal with for years.it,s not nice to say somthing is shit ,this just puts people off,and is not constructive.
it totaly goes against wot this site is for, constructive criticism. :dontevengothere:

there are a lot of the best producers on this planet on this site,and it is great to get good production tips and constructive criticism off the best in the busines.

this can only be a healthy thing for our beloved techno.

the problem here has been the dark forum. and it's because i haven't made a moderator for it. the attitude has spilled over into here a little. and i've just got a little sick of it. i think u can see the problem ;)

ok, topic closed. i think we all realise the need to get this forum back on track. thanks for the posts on this topic everyone. obviously ppl care about this place just as much as i do.. hehehe.. but i knew that already ;)
