SX wont let me do an audio mixdown help....

im not even sure if im using cubase right. ive made a bunch of audio samples and imported them into the project. maybe about 20 channels in all. ive abused sx and used it more like a loop sequencing program in order to get these samples to work into my piece. i havent added any MIDI yet.
my problem arises when trying to do an audio mixdown so i can compile this file and move on to add more. every time i get an error message that says
"there was an error with audio mix down"
very generic error message.
what am i doing wrong?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA oh my god im so freaking stupid!!!! NEVERMIND i figured it out.
i was banging my head on my desk for at least an hour trying to mixdown my audio tracks. and the WHOLE TIME i just had the left and right locators mixed up
