Ok, we finalised this mix today. the percussion rolls much more nicely and the programming is far more intricate now.
Nightmare mix this was.

its dark n minimal and mysterious... but i like that. if i heard this tune at a club...i would start off nodding my head and the next thing without knowing i would probably be boogying on the dance floor...it the sort of tune that creeps up on ya and locks you in its groove....very nice indeed!

Impressve stuff. Sounds quite analogue, almost electro-ey at first, though this feel diminishes as the track builds. I like the way the darkness isn't too obvious - reminds me of a line from an interview I once read - "When it comes to darkness, I find it much more fascinating when applied subtly." - a sentiment that has recently been making more and more sense to me.
