    Default 606 Sync problem

I just got a 606 this past weekend. But it has a sync issue. It won't respond to or send out start/stop messages. When being the slave, the run/stop LED will light, but the pattern won't play. And when the master, the same thing happens, only on the slave device. It runs perfect on it's own. So i'm thinking theres something up with PIN 1 in the DIN socket, or a bad solder connection. Anyone have this happen to them?? I'd like to get it fixed before the 13th for a gig.

Your not using a midi cable are you? because midi cables are wired up differently to sync 24 cables.
All extremists should be taken out and shot.

No. But SOME MIDI cables do work. I'm using proper DIN cables. I think i've found the problem anyway. I tore it apart for the 100th time, wiggled the din socket around, and sure enough...you can see 2 of the solder connections move...they're obviously NOT supposed to move at all=o] So i just gotta get someone to resolder them on.
