the second one dont sound like hard house
i dont know what it is but ive heard it loads, and it is early hardstyle.
mmmmmmmm
Hardstyle didn't exist before 2000 mate. ID&T came up with the term in 2001 and Q-Dance adapted it in 2001. Furthermore, most sources for the style have been Dutch oldschool, German hardhouse and Italian hardtrance/techno. UK hardhouse has never been in the picture..
That doesn't mean tho that UK hardhouse exists which is very to the liking of hardstyle but as a matter a fact I don't think that these tunes are hardstyle.
Rob M8,
G Punkt - Jacobs Drohnung I + II (Fairlight records 3) both those tunes are on that vinyl.

I would say that a lot of hardstyle, especially the latest stuff is influenced by UK hard house. Sad but true - i've seen quotes before from Dana and on the Qlimax site confirming it.Originally Posted by ScuL
yeh alright i shouldnt have said early "hardstyle", but i mean the stuff which influenced hardstyle i.e german HARD trance (tracid etc)
mmmmmmmm
@voorheez . sounds strange to me
Really? I can see it personally, especially with the similarities in structures of tunes and the samples used. It's definitely more so in the dutch style of hardstyle.
