    Default HARDSTYLE SYNTHS

Hello, I have all the hardstyle samples i need and I'm using the K-Station plug in to try and create that really syncopated ear piercing trance sound but it always sounds too cheesy for my liking, the kind of trance sound im after is very high pitched and ear piercing but not too bad so that i cant make a tune out of it... think dj duro style, can anyone tell me any synthesis or presets they know of to get this sound? cheers

ive got the novation a station, its probably got the same features as your k-station.heres how i get some good sounds.set the unison feature on for the oscillator.now play around with your lfo speed and depth.youll get some intresting sound messing with these knobs.also use the mod envelope depth and tweak the attak sustain and decay knobs.ull get loads of wiked sound for hardstyle by just doin this.the filters on novation are pretty good aswell add a bit of distortion to ure sound and theyll scream.try difrent waveforms for the lfo too.hope that helps dude.

or you could do something no one else is doing ?
Sequence is coming. It's going throughout your imagination. It takes you where you've been before. A higher state of mind. Yeah, you remember the early times. Now were trying to take you again. In the deepest seas of your consciousness.....Time never stops

cheers for the help mate, there must be one formula that every1 uses cos iv heard the same style on a few tunes. I've tried doing different stuff with other synth sounds but it's the one specific sound i need and then i can make that into different tunes etc.

youve probably heard that sound on many tracks because some producers just rip each other.and just chop the sample up and add a few effects to make it sound slightly diffrent.
