(this is NOT a personal attack on anyone in anyway!!!!)

Its nice that we have icons within the scene which no ****a outside of it knows about. But as up & coming djs we need try & make our sets stand out as much as possible from within the scene, I dont think playin the same stack of tunes that the previous 3 djs that night played is gonna do that.

When I first got decks years & years ago I was always looking for stuff nobody else had, this was when I was playing commercial house shit and didnt know any better. Ive always tried to be different to everyone else around me & doing that has led me to here so far, I'm not going to stop trying to be different now just because what I play seems orignal to the average raver or clubber. I want to be different from everyone while playing a sound that i love.

Agree with everything you said, an especially about the talking in the breakdowns. I do however like small samples of say film clips in the breakdowns just not all that "give me some bass and a kick with large fries and extra mayo" bollox! Irevelivent voice samples always sound good to me coz I think it makes your head try and connect the music to it and puts some strange images in your brain.
