I thought i'd post up some info about the sample CD as there is not alot else where, i took a plunge and its been worth it, so i'd thought i'd let you all know its a good one!.
i ordered my copy last week, either Wednesday or Thursday and it arrived today, Tuesday, so excellent service from Sam Punk and his crew :)
The CD arrived in a padded envelope, in a nicely labelled jewel case (the thinner kind) with contact and future products info..Essential Hardstyle Tools Vol 2 will be out soon it says :)

The CD contains the following folders:
Beatz
Drumz
Effectz
Hardbassz
Hardstylesignalz
Soundz
Vocalz

Beatz
The Beatz folder has three sub folders:
140
142
144
each folder represents the BPM and all contain various loops, ranging from 1 bar to 4 bars in length.

Drumz
The drumz folder has four sub folders:
BazzDrumz
Clappz
Hihatz
Snarez
each folder represents the type of drum and has single shot and looped samples of their respective drum/percussion instrument.

Effectz
range of effects, whoosy noises, swirly noises, blips, blops etc etc!

Hardbassz
this folder has 11 types of bass samples, some are the same as others but on a different note, e.g. bass9a, bass9b, bass9c# etc....

Hardstylesignalz
Some samples of common noises/drums/effects you often hear in hardstyle tunes.

Soundz
These samples are of various things which could be used for building rythem melodies out of, like screeches, hovers, sirens, organs

Vocalz
Split down into two folders
Male
Female
Has lots voice samples!


All the samples are in 16bit WAV format and total size of the CD is 401MB.
I havent been through all of them yet, but of the ones i heard so far whilst writing this, i can say that the quality in terms of clarity is all fine, no strange blips and they all seem well edited.
some of them are very familiar ;) and some i've not heard before. im a bit disappointed with only having 11 different basses, it's no wonder hardstyle has the same bass line all the time ;) :lol: heres hoping the soon arriving Virus TI can help with that!

if your just starting out and would like a load of good solid samples to play with or need some typical hardstyle sounds, this is the CD....i think it cost £21.99 after the EURO to £ conversion and i paid by PayPal, so nice and safe.
