    Default sample preparation

    right, ive got a set of 1 bar samples that make up a track of mine, just wondering wot any of u lot on here suggest i shud do to my samples b4 i do further sequencing in Cubase SX?

    normalizing is a word i see pop up alot but never quite know wot it means or how i shud use it

    Correct dc offset.. normalize (to -0,5 db)... check if u really need yer sample 2 b stereo... some people also aply a HPF 20 hz (cut all infrasounds) and a LPF above 20 Khz (cut all ultrasounds)!

    nice one mate, bit late for 2nite but im gonna get on with that tommorow, i usually just stick the wavs into cubase after creation in fruity, but always wondered wot others did to samples b4 sequencing tracks
