Geez, I love a good gearlist!

    I use mainly:

Ableton Live 4, for the sequencing of midi and some loops
TR909 for drums, percussion and general weirdness when run thru
    Sherman Filterbank
    TB 303 for basslines
Juno 60 for pads, basslines, arpegs, fx, etc
Alesis FX (which I need to upgrade)

    The flashing lights are incredible...

Just bought a spankin' new PC, it's HOT :P (P4-3.4ghz, 1gig RAM, 200MB SATA HD with 8meg cache)

    On Order:
    M-audio 24/96 soundcard
    Alesis M1 Active Monitors
Roland JX3P (Still not confirmed - If not then a funky midi keyboard, maybe an M-Audio - about the same price and could do with the analoguye goodness of the Roland)

Then deciding on whether to go with Logic 5.5.1 (with no more upgrades ever :() and an Alesis Studio-32 analogue desk OR bite the bullet and go for Cubase SX 3 = Same price.

If you stick with Logic I don't see the need for a mixer at all. Cubase and Logic share very similar functionality in terms of audio mixing. I'd use the money on something else.... a compressor or two :)

Pentium 4. 1gig ram. fast hard drive
    Yamaha o1x
    Ego sys near 05
    Evolution uc16
    Evolution mk249c
    Matrox dual head.

Thats it. I've had all sorts over the years, but got sick of MIDI, now i know i can open my project 6months down the line and not be looking for plugins, presets etc etc...

Im not gonna bother listing the plug ins - it doesnt really prove any thing.

Main sequencers Sx2.2, Fruity 5, Ableton 4 and Soundforge.

The o1x does everything i need both in the studio and in live situations, reliably.
