Default Your favourite vst-plugins and why

    Hi!

I would like to ask you all which plugins you like for:

    - delay

    - reverb

You can name free/retail ones, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

The reason for me asking is I whant to settle with good plugs for everything such as delay, compression, eq, reverb and stuff,
you know, i want some standards in my productions I don't have to worry about - in other words: QUALITY :!:

    Thanks in advance,

    loopdon

i have waves platinum and for me, that reverb is perfect....!
delay is somewhere i need to improve...usually i just used linear simple ones.. sometimes i use Waves SuperTap but its hard to navigate!

I have Spektral Delay but it wont work on my computer... am i missing out?

the 2 reverbs on Waves.. are Rverb and TruVerb

Rverb is good for create simple linear space and copying simple room noise like halls, churches etc...

TruVerb adds a bit of a electronic sound to it.. and has a very wide spread!
good for vocal things and high percussions that you want to sit in without linear reverb.

this is my jist of the two anyway

hi, I like to work with PSP products,. it§s easy to use and do the job very well for me. reverb - PSP Audioware,,,,and PSP84 as a delay....

There§s one free vST delay I checked in last days and it looks quite nice. check it out

It's not really much good for 'normal' delay use. It eats shitloads of CPU and does a lot more than you need for most applications. You can really mangle sounds with it though.

Best delay I've used is the Ohmforce Ohmboyz.

    yeah, their stuff is great,
have to say i prefer the Antares Filter VST to their one though, similar in function, just find the antares one simpler to use.

for more creative verb i use the waves renaissance..
for standard i use either the TC native, or the TC megaverb off the powercore for real nice ones.. I use the standard cubase ones for a certain sound occasionally too :)

Delay wise i only really use the standard cubase ones or the waves - can anyone reccoment other good ones?

that PSP84 looks nice havent tryed though

for synths check-> imposcar(nice filter),vanguard(like a virus supossedly) ,moog modular, albino, zeta

eq and compression- sonalksis seem to be nicer than the waves check there site http://www.sonalksis.com/ check the DQdynamic and sv-517 eqs.
