    Default logic 7

    is a good way to spend $1000?
    i heard something about bugs, is better wait for 7.1?
    it runs ok on a g4 1.33?
    do cubase come with plug-ins to like esx 24?

    cubase standard is shite but there's some awesome vst instruments out there. but if you've got the cash go for logic, im upgrading to it soon

    I've had Logic 7 for a month now and it kicks ass. Well worth the money but you really need a G5 with at least 512mb ram to make it run smooth. The Ultrabeat drum module is worth getting if your gonna upgrade from 6. I have just made the move from a PC running Cubase 5.1 and so far the move ain't been too confusing.

    Used it for a session for the first time last night, it's wicked, if you've used Logic before and liked it then Logic 7 is great.

    Audio editing still seems to be the same dodgy sample editor but otherwise very smooth. Didn't crash once on me.

    Synths sound fantastic, loads of different distortions ...
