The free mix CD is a FANTASTIC idea.

Something else that could be good is to get some visual art happening. Nothing huge.... I just remember buying a Diego douple pack on Kanzleramt (Mouth full of Fresh Flowers or something) and in it was record sleeve sized, 300gsm, matt varnished print of the cover artwork on one side, with a past releases sheet on the other side including photos of each record cover.

I loved that. You could send that artowrk on it's own to record shops to put up on their walls etc....

I think it's a good idea.
