Yeah im sorta gettin that idea... LOADS and LOADS more people are into production of Techno but then id also say there are more people out there listening to hard trance than techno.

There certainly seems to be alot more hard trance played at events than there is techno... well where i have been there is anyway... and looking at the forum theres more going on in the hard trance/rave screne there.

Is this true? do people enjoy listening to hard trance more but prefer to produce techno?

Definately from my perspective. I really enjoy listening to hard trance , but I love creating techno. But even then sometimes you cant really tell the difference after I've finished what I was doing.

Its also that alot of topics a little broader than techno specific, covering things like software and hardware and other issues are just being posted there because its higher up in the forum list.

this ones for mark (or anyone else for that matter),

i use fruity loops for making hard trance and techno, sure i can make a reverse bassline, but nothing as rib-cage exploding as the trusty h+c bassline. if you know of a place where i can find one (not a german asda store) then a reply would be great.

p.s i saw found this forum through the dance academy web-forum (just thought i would let you know your advertising has paid off, with me at least)

I was alone in this room... have to start churning some stuff in here and hope some of you reply!

Also I'd love anyone to offer remixes of my stuff if anyone's interested.
