Wat did 2004 mean to you for the trance sound?

For me i have for the first time in the while ive been djin, found myself consistently buying trance. This year for me has been consistent as funk, with some many artists and labels producing the good time and time again.

For artists, many have stood out like old guard, MIKE, who has been experiment under various guises to great effect, introducing a very techno infulenced element into the sound imo.

Signum, who do wat they do best in making classy, classy 2 grand an hour hooker style trance. Consistent releases and also recently been giving there production a very crisp and tougher than most sound.

Ive also been massively into, G&M, Alex Morph, Fred Baker & Mr Sam, dj danjo and Rob style, Kuffdam and Plant, Jan gustaffson, Ronski speed, Primo-lux, Randy Katana, Dj precision, John O'callaghan.... the list goes on.

Labels like Galactive, Fundamental, Reset, A state of trance, Id&t, Bonzai, Fenology, Discover, captivating and again the list goes on.

Club trance has seen so many off shoots of the standard sounds this year for me, with techy, tribally, prog, and some proper uplifting beasts.

Does anyone disagree or agree, i personally have been chuffed with way this year has went.
