cds or vinyl

just curious 2 know what people think of cd mixing, over vinyl. do u just use vinyl ? do any of you just mix with cds ? what about a bit of both ? more and more clubs seem to have installed new cd mixers like the pioneer vinyl emulation cd player!!! i might be mistaken but very few underground djs seem to use them am i wrong ? if not how come ? :?

also it leads to ppl just burning cds of downloaded tracks surely?

yeah ive got a cdj, I mainly use it for mixing my own material. Its handy if you have a mate with a good tune that you cant get any more, just copy it on to cd & play it that way. still cant beat records though !

when using commercial stuff you can get your cds from the hsops or of the net,
but good hard trance is in short supply when it comes to downloads cause its undergournd music.

If its a general point then i will say only this, im so pissed of with my pioneer cdj-100 that it might be up for sale.

get yourself a ****ikng ;) CDJ1000 then they kick ass!

you can do sooo much more stuff on the than you can with vynal HOT CUE's & LOOP facility kick ass,,, especialy for those akward mixes!

Reverse kicks ass as well. i would mind another one, except they are £730
