there's plenty on mate, the last 3 months have been hectic for me. hardly a weekend off.
you just need to look in the right places, like you say some of the nights you've been going to aren't very underground.
look out for the smaller nights, thats where its happening IMO. ;)
yeh i see ur point dude. although i have been to a fair few underound nites this year, such as urban gorilla, pure filth, firefly etc, but for alot of the time in the last half of the year, they have been dominated by breaks. i mean i really like breaks but it can get frustrating when ur wantin the techno to kick in. my main moan tho seems to be techno nights around the midlands. any suggestions are more than welcome tho ;)

I would deffiantely say that the Techno scene is very dry down here in the South West... Very Dry!! We did have Vagisness @ The Depot, Bristol with the likes of Rockcliffe, Henrik B, and loads others but thats gone...... theres just not much else this end!!

If you mention Surgeon, Sims, Ruskin, Amok, Wittekend to anybody there all like... 'who are they then' its really frustrating.

    anyhow,

1 - Surgeon, Regis, Ho, Ruskin @ ADE @ Melkweg, Amsterdam

2 - Varela, Beyer, Missy Babs, De Hey @ Global Gathering

    3 - Alex Calver @ Atmosphere
Rowlanz - Faith, Trust & Love
Rowlanz & McGowan - Winging It

And in answer to the question,

    1. Atomic Jam @ Custard Factory, Weatherall, Sims and Clarke.

    2. Atomic Jam @ The Sanctuary, Claude Young (who else played that night?)

    3. Atomic Jam @ The Sanctuary, Dave Clarke, Technasia (again forgot who played at this one, and even if it was this year ?)

;) All my best nights are always spent at atomic jam as you can tell.

babs was amazing at global mate. i was there also! but that set was basically a condensed version of her 4hour set at gods in may. there was literally no breaks....it was absoultly rockin for 4hours none stop until the end although i felt sorry for petre foy on after her. everyone left as they were all battered and worn out by her beats!

yeh she defo played quite a few classics, but i enjoy that at festivals. kind of a celebration of the year, so a few classics amongst are always welcome! yeh i was on bout foy @ godskitchen fordy. wen i saw her the second time in the nitro room in sept they had no1 playin after her. they prob heard wot happened last time she played a more underground set the second time...was ace once again!
