i think the problem has been the xmas period. i mean there's not been BAGS of quality hard trance for a good few years now and it's always been a mission to search for it. but with xmas everyone releases less.

i'm looking forward to what's coming out this year but at the mo i'm finding myself playing some of the same records from last month and i don't like doing that.

here's to hoping it gets al little better in feb.
True, xmas is going to see less productions hitting the shelves, but it's a depressing time to go through. I wonder if we have been saying this each year at this time! I might go back through the hard trance section and check! ahaha....

At my local record shop, I went through 30 to 40 records yesterday, mainly new but I picked up some old that I haven't checked out before. 1 I purchased, and that was the Chemical Overdose one by Sam Punk. The rest was so poor... I remember one hardstyle one called "Bad Boy" by "Charlie Brown" urrrrghh... the vocals "Bad Boy" all the way through, with an awful sampled hardstyle beat and screechy stabs. Too many tracks made me cringe...

Always look forward though, give it time and the tunes will come.
