a more obvious prompt when you have new pm's

is it possible to have a more noticable prompt when you recieve pm's?
something like a popup dialog or the pm hyperlink flashes more obviously / with bigger letters.
however, a popup window wouldnt be much use as alot of people these days (myself included) have popup blockers

i'm forever missing pm's

there is a pop up message box, you have to have it enabled in your profile, but like you say, if you hve pop up blockers, its not much use unless you set it up to accept them

i dont think poppu blockers block message boxes - only popup browser windows.

Ive got the pop up option enabled but never get any pop up's to say ive got a pm

it should pop up if you have it enabled, but sometimes you may accidently click on the screen just as the website is loading, this will then close the pop up window, iv'e done it a few times myself
