Default Free VSTi for REAL Freaks: Ultradia Brainwave Entrainment

In general terms, Ultradia™ is a body of work by Dr. Diane Kistner that has evolved over the years as she sought to develop custom self-healing tools following poor response to conventional treatments. Specifically, Ultradia is a unique brainwave entrainment architecture derived from the frequencies of adenine, thymine, guanine, and cytosine — the “building blocks” of DNA. The Ultradia frequencies, when listened to in a specific sequence for a specific length of time, help normalize the 90-minute human ultradian rhythm.

Have you had any luck with this plug? I got it awhile back but couldn't find much use for it since it produced the same tone no matter what midi keys I hit. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be that way or not because the samples of what could be done with the VSTi on the webpage had melodies. Interesting concept though.

I'm sure you get that sort of thing on hippy meditation tapes..?

Anyway how could anyone prove if it was deliberate?

years ago i remember controversy as a computer game has subliminal messages and brain sync rhythms to relax the player. it was said that because there was laws against this kind of thing in music but not computer games, the game was released with an 18 certificate.

obviously theres a big difference between subliminal messages and brain sync rhythms, but i always assumed (incorrectly it seems) that both these were covered under the law

I don't think it applies to music. I'm fairly sure that subliminal advertising is banned though (flashing a single frame image of a product into a film or something).
