Default Can anyone list the good hard techno releases at the mo???

Cause I'm having such a problem. I'm finding either dark techno (spain), french techno, acid techno or elp (ie primatish).. There's been some great releases, and tbh i'm happy... BUT where are those releases that were there last year in the hard banging variety??? Like Dean Rodell or Slobodan or. Arrgghh... Or am I just being negative? Perhaps I'm not been shopping on the net as much as I should. BRING BACK RECORD SHOPS!!! hahaha.

Particularly the Alliance 3 on Arms Skoog vs A Johansson & M Fridell. I dig all 4 of those trax. HARD but still have the proper groove factor.

Also the silent Witness E.P. Is Jammin!

Maybe that Julian Liberator vs Geezer on Artillery would be something for you.

But it´s true, there´s not been much this year :(

    all the new Fine-Audio records 40 - 44 http://www.fine-audio.de

    anything on Mafia Records http://www.mafiarecord.org

and anything on Audio Assault is damn tough - http://www.audioassault.com/

but it depends what floats your boat, there's so much hard techno out there, you do have to search hard to sort the chaff from the wheat. Each time I play out (admitedly it's not as much as I would like!) I hardly hear another DJ play a track Ive got and all of theirs sound ace aswell ;) but with so much about I find myself getting more into the electro/breaks sound.

That last one you did with Wilson really hit the spot Mark, I miss that sounding tech.

Rodell on UF was another good one.

We've been playing TST18 heaps too...Lattenheim again maybe, not too sure.

    Thanks loads everyone.

I've just finished building our studio with Chrissi. 2004 has been a hard year for us. Been in the wrong place with the wrong room. God your surroundings are so important when making music. I never realised this until this year. Now it's all finished, nothing is gonna stop us writing the type of music I'm talking about. Thanks for the links - I think you're right that 2004 hasn't been the best for hard techno. It's frustrating me that there's not much out there. Perhaps 2005 will be a better year.

Think postive and look forwards, that's my motto.

Decksharks ep on skulltunes is very good straightforward hard stuff

anything on audio assault for somthing driving

    anything on patterns

anything by Metroline for top production and some nice synths

Night train on submissions is one of my faves this year

But to be honest there hasnt been that many good hard techno releses this year (sorry last year)appart from decksharks and the new subbmissions no big rig type hard techno has made my jaw drop.
Hopefully some of my purist stuff will make an impact this year(if its not shit and I get off my lazy arse and do somthing with it that is)

some of these are at least a couple of weeks old but these are my favourite hard techno newies:

gunjack: daily apocolypse (gunjack collectors series 2)

kaylab presents brasilian artists (headline 038)
b1: abismo (original mix) is the best of these four

patrick skoog: desolation ep (drumcode 28)

sandy warez: brain injected (djax up beats)

maximum punishment vol 5: 550 orgasm

mike dust vs boris s: killaz from hell (killaz)

brainshaker vs the anxious: blackout audio 12

    getafix: routemaster 53

the way of the drum 3: (lfr 20)

    bang bang bang. nice!!!!
